The fifth work of "Vive! Saxophone Quartet" commissioned series, including "The Dance in the Heat Haze (ENMS-84106)". Rome: anyone traveling to Italy will have visited. And one of the tourist attractions, Bocca della Verita, is the most popular place. Even if you don't understand the original Italian, you should have been familiar with "The Mouth of Truth" in photographs. It is well known that this place appeared in the masterpiece, "Roman Holiday". "The Mouth of Truth" stands at the arcade of the Basilica of Saint Mary in Cosmedin in Rome. There is a legend that if you put your hand in the mouth, a person with a deceitful heart will have his wrist cut off, bitten or stuck. Actually, the sculpture was a manhole to cover a sewer ditch. The face of the sea god Tritone is engraved on it, which looks solemn and noble. For the theme, I chose Italy, a favorite country I have enjoyed many times. Enjoy the cheerful Roman atmosphere!
