Canzonetta, for Clarinet and Concert Band

The French composer, conductor and organist, Gabriel Pierné, has been called the most complete French musician of the late Romantic/early 20th century era. In his own music Pierné blended a seriousness of purpose with a lighter, more popular flavor reminiscent of Jules Massenet.
Pierné's output as a composer includes entries in most of the standard genres: 8 operas, oratorios, instrumental and orchestral music, and songs.
Pierné was a master musical craftsman, and his skill is as apparent in ear candy such as the ‘Canzonetta’ for Clarinet and Piano as it is in his more weighty, serious organ and dramatic music.
