One of the many dances performed at the coming-of-age feast of Prince Siegfried, the first act of the ballet. It is an old-fashioned dance in which the elder Wolfgang who has been drinking dances to a village girl. (Original E-dur)
No. 22 "Danse napolitaine"
Act 3, one of the folk dances performed at the ball to select the bride of Prince Siegfried. The first half is comprised of songs reminiscent of the composer's "Capriccio Italien", and the second half has the Tarantella dance (original D-dur).
Contrabass Clarinet can be played by String Bass.
