The American clarinet player and band leader Benny Goodman, born in Chicago (1909-1986) is still considered to be the "Jazz King". This extra-ordinary artist started a true revolution in jazz music by combining his talents as performer of classical music with his skills in jazz music. He played together with the greatest jazz cats before starting his own band. In "A Tribute to Benny Goodman" the clarinet leads the band, as to be expected. The clarinet soloist will take the lead from the first notes ‘till the very end.
