DESCRIPTION

Trombones can only play loud. I changed this opinion when I heared a recording of the Joe Loss dance band, playing "I’m Getting Sentimental Over You". The trombone player of that particular band played with a beautiful, full sound. A second reason for composing "Summer Fantasy" was after being introduced to Gordon Langford’s beautiful Rhapsody for trombone and brass band. So it’s time to put the spotlight on the trombone!
