The song Mir foan mit der Zilln übern See is often sung in the area of the Traunsee (also called "Lacus felix"). This enchanting lake, to which Fitz Neuböck pays a tribute, lies in the "deep blue" of the picturesque mountains of Salzkammergut (Upper Austria). The composer is very thankful to be able to live in such a beautiful area.
