Fritz Neuböck wrote "Fanfare in Blue and White" for the 100th anniversary of the band of the Zipf brewery in Upper Austria. This band is popularly called "Die Blauweißen" ("The Blue-Whites"), hence the title of this work. The fanfare is written in a traditional wind band style: A majestic melody is followed by a lyrical middle section before the opening fanfare returns to close the work. "Fanfare in Blue and White" premiered at the regional music festival in 2019 to mark the anniversary of this band.
