Every year an event is organised for the people of Upper Austria in Vienna. This ball is a major event where all participants show up in traditional Austrian costumes. In honor of this event Thomas Asanger wrote a composition which was premiered on January 22, 2011 at the Austria Centre in Vienna. Over 5.000 people attended the premiere. The work was performed by both the Bügerkorpskapelle from Windhaag and the Stadtkapelle from Perg, conducted by the composer.
