Ghislain Bellefroid
Ghislain Bellefroid (1969) is living just outside of Rotterdam. He started out as a clarinetist and is now a band and orchestra conductor. He has won several competitions in the Netherlands and abroad and has conducted many bands, orchestras and ensembles. In conducting these orchestras he likes to look for innovative repertoire and soloistic talent. He also enjoys working with other art forms. Since 1990, Ghislain has been associated with the Marine Band of the Royal Netherlands Navy. First as a clarinetist and now as librarian and assistant conductor of this world-renowned band.
