Written by Tim Rice, Benny Andersson, and Björn Ulvaeus, “I Know Him So Well” is extracted from the musical “Chess” and was on top of the hit parade in Great Britain for several weeks. The original version was sung by Elaine Page and Barbara Dickson who, however strange it may seem, never met during the recording sessions in the studio. Fritz Neubock wrote this wind band arrangement with a vocal part that can be performed by two female singers or by a trumpet (cornet or flugelhorn) and an alto saxophone.
