Magic Waltz - from The Legend of 1900

"Magic Waltz" is one of the most entertaining pieces of music that were used in the movie "The Legend Of 1900". The score was composed by Amedeo Tommasi and awarded several prizes, including even a ‘Golden Globe’. Originally scored for solo piano, Benoît Chantry arranged the jazz style to a version for concert band. The melody is augmented by a lot of diminutions that are transcribed for the higher woodwind range. "Magic Waltz" has a fairly advanced difficulty level and demands a well-skilled woodwind section.
