March Of The Future

"Marching for the Future – Music for the Peace" was the theme for the Wonju Tattoo 2006, where internationally renowned military bands gathered for a week of inspiring parades and concerts. The composer participated as a trumpet player with the Singapore Armed Forces Central Band, and wrote this march as a tribute to the noble vision of the event. As a reference to the theme, "Peace" is broken in "p-E-A-C-E", with p standing for piano, and E-A-C-E being a musical motif, building the main theme for the trio section.
