Missa St. Florian

The mass "Missa St. Florian" was composed in 2014 on the occasion of the "Landesmusikfest" (Regional Music Festival) of the Wind band Association of Upper AustriaIt was named after Saint Florian, patron saint of firemen, and for the last 15 years patron saint of Upper Austria. The five part mass (Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus, Agnus Dei and Communion) can be performed either by the wind band on its own or with a chorus. The choral parts are only available in German. The Agnus Dei is based on the well-known canon Dona Nobis Pacem.
