Within 1 business dayThe Elegy for band originated as a reaction to a personal conflict in the life of the composer. The beautiful melody seems to contradict this conflict. The conversation between the different instruments in the poco piu mosso provides a nice variation. The dissonances in bars 4 and 6 and at the end of the piece sound the aforementioned conflict.
