Sous 1 jour ouvrableA very compact version was written for the remaining 10 band members of Jonai HS Wind Orchestra and the school's 100th anniversary. It was revised to larger instrumentation in 2012.
When changing to full instrumentation, I added phrases in order to balance the piece. In addition, English horn and contrabassoon are included, but they are still optional. Harp can also be replaced by piano.
Since it is for full band, I wrote so as to not overlap other parts as much as possible to avoid density, so please aim for a sound that preserves the tone of each instrument.
