Composed in October 2022, commissioned by Tokai University Takanawadai High School Band. I wished for woodwind fluidity to be vividly expressed. I hope it will be a gorgeous and delightful woodwind ensemble. In the exposition of theme in A, the introduction starting with the upbeat is one of the most important themes. It will be effective if you can express the part leading up to it well so that P will be expressive. "Crimson" means "deep red" or "dark red" and I named this piece "Crimson Sound" because Takanawadai High School Band, the school that commissioned this piece, wears crimson uniforms.
