Program Notes
Composed for new repertoire of Brain/Bravo Music in 2021, this piece depicts the golden eagle's sharp eyes and proud appearance as it soars over rocky mountains and forests.
The piece is playable by a minimum of three players (Part 1: Trp., Part 3: Hr., etc., Part 5: Trb., etc.), but adding two optional parts (Part 2: Trp., etc., Part 4: Euph., etc.) would make the performance richer with four to five brass players. The highest note of Trp. in Part 1 is Eb, and all parts can be played without any difficulty in register.
