La Structure pour l'octuor was written by request from Fujimura Girls Jr. & Sr. High School band. In order to fit their instrumentation, the orchestration is quite unique.
I was once told that it would be difficult for school students to play a song lacking clear sense of tonality, but I was convinced that this was not the case. They lived up to my expectations with great performances.
It may seem difficult at first glance, but once you gain a glimpse of the overall structure, you realize that it's not overly advanced.
The euphonium part can be replaced with bass trombone.
