The vertical harmony is crucial, and the sense of unity as an ensemble is important. Due to the frequent rests, it is essential to be mindful of the exact length of notes and to play with a solid sound. Although the piece has many short notes, the slurred sections are performed with a particularly smooth and expansive image. While the tempo is fast, it is important to keep moving forward and not let the tension loosen by playing too slowly at any point.

- For low concert pitch "A" and "Ab" in Part 8 (Tuba), players may raise one octave if needed.
- Grace notes in measures 28-31 and 102-105 in Part 8 can be done at player's discretion, based on ability.

[About Instrumentation]
The arrangement for the premiere is listed below. The main melodies are in the 1st and 4th parts, so aim for a three-dimensional sound considering the balance of each instrument.

This piece was performed by the Obama Junior High School Wind Orchestra at the 49th Nagasaki Ensemble Contest. The premiere arrangement was for Fl. Cl. A. Sax. Trp. Hn. Trb. Euph. Tub.
