Sous 1 jour ouvrableOverture (1:30) | Song without Words (1:50) | March (1:15) | Finale (1:40)
Following Suites No.1 in 2012 and No. 2 in 2015.
The piece consists of four movements: (1) Overture (bright and joyful), (2) Song without words is a somewhat sorrowful triple meter song, and (3) March is a song in which small children seem to be marching innocently. The finale is grand with a relaxed atmosphere.
I hope you will imagine the story as you perform the music.
As the title suggests, this piece is written more with a small band in mind. As it can be flexible, I hope you will make full use of the music for various occasions. Of course, it can be used by chamber ensembles and large bands as well.
If you want to use it in a chamber ensemble with one per part, we recommend that you use the same instrument group. When used in a band, it is easier to form a basic quintet (brass â saxophone â woodwind in order of priority) and then add other instruments to the quintet to be more effective.
Percussion can be from completely optional to two players.
