Sous 1 jour ouvrableI arranged the renowned "Galaxy Express 999" to flexible such that performers and audience might experience the excitement of listening to the original work.
When assigning instruments to each part, please note which has melody and how the balance should be.
To serve a wider range of audiences I employed moderate grade levels. At the same time, there are challenges for the players.
The song is originally upbeat, with an emphasis on attack and flow. The accompaniment should be nice and tight for forward momentum.
If Parts 1 and 3 at the intro are too challenging, play in eighth notes with accents on 1st, 4th and 7th notes.
If the range is too wide, transpose octaves down or up, but consider placement of other parts.
Accompaniment staccatos at G are arranged with a train in mind. It's not from the original but I wanted to add diversity as the main theme is continuously used. Keep the forward drive up until the end!
