Written in 2011, this piece was inspired by the ruins and cultural heritage found in Yoshimi Town, Saitama Prefecture. It centers around the legend of the "Wild Tiger" passed down at a certain temple and weaves a narrative of this fictional tiger through various themes. The music unfolds through themes such as "Luminous Moss," "Tiger," "Korobokkuru," "Battle," "Nio Statues," and "Transom," which gradually intersect.
In the recording made in 2011, a wind chime called "ZEN," which has a distinctly Japanese sound, was used. However, it is not necessary to use this specific instrument; you are encouraged to explore and enjoy different timbres.
(Regarding the sharing of instruments)The marimba for 7th Percussion should be shared with 3rd Percussion.
The timpani for 7th Percussion should use the instruments of 5th Percussion.
