A dream starts growing at the moment one moves towards it. As the thought is shared with others, those who agree and want to support it gather, knowing that such dreams cannot be realized by one's efforts alone. This work came from such feelings about a band club.
The beginning depicts the realization of a fine musical dreams. While the students are challenged, they keep moving forward. Listen for the "rehearsal beat" driving exciting subdivisions. In the middle section, a minimalist style portrays loving devotion and persistent effort. A full finale announces "dream achieved!"
This piece can be performed by as little as under 35 people.
