Within 1 business dayWiener Blut (Viennese Blood) is one of the most often performed operettas composed by the Austrian master of the genre, Johann Strauss Sohn. As is the case with many of these operettas, it does not boast an overture. However, in the time-honored Austrian tradition, Max Schönherr has written an overture based on several themes from the operetta. This new arrangement was written by Fritz Neuböck. Wiener Blut has been chosen as a test piece for the D division of the Austrian Wind band Association contests of 2015/2016.
