Commissioned by Nakamura Daiichi Junior High School Band, Soma City, Fukushima.
In the forest, we are overwhelmed by its mysterious atmosphere. Tranquil rustles of trees, fresh atmosphere, whispering voices of birds.
Wandering through such a forest in a dream, even more strange things might happen. Things appear and then vanish, a sense of time is lost or confused. Such a sweet atmosphere of a dream forest will mesmerize us.
The students and I created such stories, the development of musical motifs, and the progression of mysterious harmony. It consists of triple and duple dances, a mystical middle section, the development of two-beat dance and a coda.

1 Percussionist is required.

Bass Clarinet in Bb to Baritone Saxophone in Eb or Bassoon
