This is a wind and percussion octet version originally composed for brass ensemble, for a mixed octet (flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, etc.) to be performed by the outstanding professional group Magical Sounds. Tarantella is known as a term for "rapid 6/8 time signature of Naples", but this song begins with a quick odd time signature instead of 6/8. The music develops in a free format, so I hope you enjoy imagining the narrative. It premiered on December 1, 2008 at Casals Hall, Nihon University.
